Responding to the evolving needs of the market, 1997 marked the formation of our Lumber Remanufacturing division. This venture allowed us to produce custom patterns designed by architects, further diversifying our offerings and enabling builders to deliver exceptional products to homeowners.

Joining Forces: Our Spacious New Facility

With increasing demand, Special Wood outgrew its initial location, leading to our move in 2006 to a spacious facility in northern New Hanover county. Here, operating in tandem with Lumber Remanufacturing, we’ve enhanced our efficiency and capacity to meet the growing needs of both builders and homeowners.
